Babar Azam continues to be number one in both formats, Imam-ul-Haq snatches second position from Virat Kohli
Pakistani captain and star batsman Babar Azam remains at the top of the latest ODI players rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Similarly, Babar Azam remains at the first position in the T20 players rankings while Mohammad Rizwan has moved up one place to the second position.
 In the latest ODI Players Rankings released by the ICC on Wednesday, Pakistani batsman Babar Azam is at the first position with 892 rating points. After scoring 199 runs in the series against West Indies, Imam-ul-Haq deprived Virat Kohli of the second position. Dia, Kohli slipped to third after relegation, Pakistani opener Fakhr Zaman is at 13th and India's Shekhar Dhawan is at 14th. Similarly, Shaheen Shah Afridi joined the top five for the first time in ODI bowlers. After reaching the fourth position, New Zealand's Trent Bolt is still at the top, Shadab Khan has jumped 8 places to 30th position while Muhammad Nawaz has moved up 53 places to 47th position in the top 50.
On the other hand, in the T20 players rankings, Babar Azam remains at the first position with 818 points while Mohammad Rizwan has moved up one place to the second position. Gaye, Fakhr Zaman is at 46th position, Shaheen Afridi is at 12th position, Shadab Khan is at 16th position, Haris Rauf is at 29th position, Muhammad Nawaz is at 60th position and Hassan Ali is at 63rd position.
 In the latest Test rankings, Babar Azam retains his fourth position while Azhar Ali and Mohammad Rizwan are ranked 18th and 19th respectively. Abid Ali is 23rd, Abdullah Shafiq is 35th and Fawad Alam is 42nd. Shaheen Afridi is in fourth position while Hassan Ali (15th), Muhammad Abbas (20th), Yasir Shah (37th), Noman Ali (62nd), Naseem Shah (68th), Fahim Ashraf (73rd) and Sajid Khan (75th) are in the position

Babar Azam wants to make Pakistan T20, ODI champion.
 National cricket team captain Babar Azam focused on making Pakistan the winner in T20 and ODI World Cup
In an interview with AFP, the captain of the national cricket team Babar Azam said that there was no point in this form if Pakistan did not win the T20 World Cup in October and the scheduled 50 overs international events in India next year.

 "There is no doubt that I am enjoying my form but with this form my main goal is to win two World Cups for Pakistan in the next year and a half and if that happens I will feel it," said Pakistan captain Babar Azam, 27. That my runs are worth sleeping.

 "As captain, I want to take up the challenge because the team follows the captain. If I'm scoring runs, other batsmen will follow suit," he said.
Earlier, Babar Azam had scored a century during the 2019 ODI World Cup but the national team failed to qualify for the semi-finals.

 It should be noted that Babar Azam represented Pakistan in the 2010 and 2012 Under-19 World Cups but unfortunately the national team failed to win the title.
