A screenshot of a tweet from England cricketer Moin Ali circulating on various social media platforms in South Asia stating that he will not play a second match in India unless India is the spokesperson of the ruling party. The Prophet does not apologize for his controversial remarks about Islam.
However, according to foreign news agency AFP, the claim is false, the account from which the tweet was shared has been suspended and the England Cricket Board told AFP. That this account was fake.

 The screenshot was shared on June 8, 2022 in a Facebook post.

The screenshot shows a tweet from Moin Munir Ali stating, "If India does not apologize for its blasphemy, I will never go to India again to play a match. I will also boycott PL.

It was also written in this screenshot that I appeal to my Muslim brothers to do the same, I love Muhammad (peace be upon him).

 Moin Ali is a professional cricketer who plays cricket for England.
He also plays for Chennai Super Kings in India's domestic cricket tournament IPL.

A screenshot of the misleading, fake tweet was shared on Facebook in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan, but this claim is false.

 That Twitter account was posted from Moin Ali at 18, this account has now been suspended.

 According to the records obtained from the 'Wayback Machine' of the suspended account, the bio data of this account shows that the account is not 'official'.

Jonathan Reid, head of media and publications for the England and Wales Cricket Board, told AFP that the account did not belong to the cricketer.

He further said that it was a fake account, Moin Ali has no social media account.

 Moin Ali's official profile on the England Cricket Board's website is linked to his Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts, but all three accounts are inactive.

 As of June 16, there were no reports of Moin Ali threatening to boycott matches in India over insulting statements made against the Prophet of Islam.
