The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday released a new ranking of players.

 Jaspreet Bumrah has become the number one bowler in ODI cricket for his career-best bowling in the first ODI against England.

 According to the latest ICC rankings, Jaspreet Bumrah is at the top with 718 points.


According to the latest ICC rankings, England's Joe Root tops the Test batsmen's rankings, followed by Australia's Marin LeBlanc, Australia's Steve Smith and Pakistan's captain Babar Azam.

 In Test cricket, Australian Test captain Pat Cummins tops the list of bowlers, followed by India's off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, India's Jaspreet Bumrah and Pakistan's Shaheen Shah Afridi.

 In Test cricket, India's Ravindra Jadeja tops the list of all-rounders, followed by Ravindra Ashwin, Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan and West Indies' Jason Holder.

 In ODI batsmen's rankings, Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam is at number one, followed by Pakistan's Imam-ul-Haq at number two and India's Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma at number three and four respectively.

 Indian bowler Jaspreet Bumrah has topped the list of ODI bowlers.

 Kiwi bowler Trent Bolt is second, while Pakistani bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is third and Australian bowler Josh Hazelwood is fourth.





In the all-rounders' line in ODI cricket, Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan is first, Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi is second, Rashid Khan is third and England's Chris wokes is fourth.
 In T20 cricket, Pakistan's captain Babar Azam tops the batting list, followed by wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan. South Africa's Eden Markram is third and England's David Malan is fourth.
 On the other hand, in the ranking of T20 bowlers, Australian bowler Josh Hazelwood is number one.
 England's league spiner Adil Rashid is second, South Africa's Tabriz Shamsi is third and Afghanistan's star player Rashid Khan is fourth.
 In the list of all-rounders in T20, Muhammad Nabi is first, Shakib Al Hasan is second, Moin Ali is third and Glenn Maxwell is fourth.
 After winning the first ODI against England by 10 wickets, the Indian team has overtaken the third-ranked Pakistani team to reach the third position.


The ICC has also released a new ranking of teams.

 In the ICC ODI rankings, New Zealand is first, England second, India third, Pakistan fourth and Australia fifth.
 South Africa is sixth, Bangladesh is seventh, Sri Lanka is eighth, West Indies is ninth and Afghanistan is tenth.
 According to the T20 rankings released by the ICC, India is ranked first, England second, Pakistan third, South Africa fourth and Australia fifth.
 In the T20 rankings, New Zealand is sixth, West Indies is seventh, Sri Lanka is eighth, Bangladesh is ninth and Afghanistan is tenth.
