Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has thanked Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam for encouraging him.

A few days ago, Babar Azam shared a picture of himself and Virat Kohli on the social networking site Twitter and encouraged Virat Kohli by writing, 'This time too will pass.'

Commenting on Babar Azam's post on Saturday, Virat Kohli thanked him and said, 'Keep shining and moving forward, wish you all the best.'

It should be noted that Virat Kohli has been out of form for some time now and questions are being raised about his place in the Indian team.

Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam was praised not only in Pakistan but also across the border for tweeting about Virat Kohli.

Babar Azam is usually compared to Virat Kohli and the centuries and total scores of both are compared after every match.

Babar Azam is currently ranked number one in ODI and T20 cricket while Virat Kohli is ranked third in ODI cricket and is not in the top ten in T20 cricket.

The exchange of messages between Virat Kohli and Babar Azam has made cricket fans in India and Pakistan very happy.

"This is the first time in a year that Virat Kohli has responded to a tweet," said Twitter user Anseer Shah.

It was written on the Twitter handle Kotli Lines that 'Babar of Pakistan and Virat of India are winning hearts across both borders.'

Expressing happiness, Twitter user Waqas wrote that 'The answer has arrived'.

Ibrahim Raja wrote that 'These are two great personalities of the subcontinent.'

It should be remembered that on Thursday, Babar Azam addressed Virat Kohli in a tweet and gave him a message of good wishes.
