Captain Eoin Morgan, who made England cricket World Cup champions for the first time, announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.

Regarding his retirement, Morgan said that he had decided to leave cricket very thoughtfully. 

The former English captain said the decision to retire was not easy but it was the best time.

It may be recalled that England won the Cricket World Cup title for the first time under Morgan in 2019.
In addition, Ireland-born Morgan led England to win 76 out of 126 ODIs. 

If his individual performance is looked at, he scored 6957 runs in 225 ODIs, including 13 centuries, while playing for England.

It should be noted that his total number of centuries is 14, he scored his first century playing for Ireland.
