Regarding his retirement, Morgan said that he had decided to leave cricket very thoughtfully.
The former English captain said the decision to retire was not easy but it was the best time.
It may be recalled that England won the Cricket World Cup title for the first time under Morgan in 2019.
If his individual performance is looked at, he scored 6957 runs in 225 ODIs, including 13 centuries, while playing for England.
It should be noted that his total number of centuries is 14, he scored his first century playing for Ireland.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is planning to hold three national tournaments every year in the new Future Tour program during the growing number of T20 leagues in the world in which teams from Pakistan, England and Australia will participate. Negotiations are underway to form a consortium. It is not an easy task to invite the two biggest teams of the world to Pakistan every year. Then we have to look at the engagements of England and Australia. Rameez Raja will come to Karachi later this month to talk to some business houses. The PCB is trying to fix the annual window in which the weather is not affected. Then every year a big team came to Pakistan. Since there is no life left in the bilateral series, the only way to earn money is to block the two big teams in the T20 series every year. Local sponsors came forward in three national tournaments in PSL style and spectators also took interest in the series. The new Future Program will run from 2024 to 2027. It is to be noted that Rameez Raja has earlier given the idea of four national tournaments between Pakistan, India, England and Australia which is available with the ICC. The new Future Tour program does not include any series with India.
