Bairstow hits fifth century of the year after a field fight with Kohli.



After a fight with Virat Kohli during the third day's play in the fifth Test in England, Johnny Bairstow fightback to take England's total to 284 runs with a fine innings of 106 runs.


Earlier, batting, India scored 416 runs in their first innings, according to foreign news agency Reuters.


Johnny Bairstow scored his third century in the last four innings and has scored five centuries this year.


Ben Stokes was caught twice but the England captain could not take advantage of the opportunity and was caught by Jaspreet Bamra for 25 off Thackeray's bowling.


 On the other hand, despite Johnny Bairstow's brilliant innings, India has a 169-run lead against England.


 Earlier, Sam Billings was on the crease with seven runs, but the game was stopped due to rain and a quick break was taken, at that time England was 216 runs behind.

England's Broad holds the record for the most expensive over in the history of Test cricket 

 




India captain Jaspreet Bumrah took an aggressive approach after losing nine wickets and took advantage of Broad's poor line and length to score 35 runs in an over.


 He hit a four on Broad's first ball and then the next wide which crossed the boundary while the next ball was declared a nubal on which the Indian captain hit a six and then also hit a four. The Indian bowler then hit two more fours.  He hit a six and made a total of 35 runs in the over and set a world record.



Earlier, the world record for most runs in an over in Test cricket was held by Brian Lara, Kashyap Maharaj and George Bailey who scored 28 runs in an over. 


For Pakistan, Shahid Afridi had scored 27 runs in an over against India in 2005.


 It should be noted that English fast bowler Stuart Broad has another 'honor' that he has won against the Indian team, in the 2007 World Twenty20, India's batsman Yuvraj Singh hit him six sixes in an over.
